Be Proud!

Our challenge this week at Pixie Dust Studio is "Be Proud", so bring out the Red, White and Blue for my American friends! I used this fun image called Treat Trolley and can be found in the studio store! My darling sentiment is from Stampendous!

I went with mainly R/W/B but just had to add a touch of that bright green from the Cherry stems to bring it out :) Since I was on a dot theme with the umbrella, I used dotted paper (the back of a Creative Imaginations piece), Swiss dot folder, Bo Bunny Double dot paper, and some circle gems too.

Here's another closeup: the cherries and wheels were all shined up with some Glossy Accents :) Thanks for popping in to see me today! Please play along with us this week at Pixie Dust STudio Challenge blog for a chance to win a FREE image!! Hee's the other challenges for this card since there are so many Patriotic themed ones this week!

Challenge List:
Pixie Dust Studio: Be Proud

I luv being witchy

Happy hump day and time for another Fab ‘n’ Funky Challenge! Its time to head south to the Bermuda Triangle! Do what?? We want to see some triangles on your card this week AND/OR you can use this sketch to jumpstart your mojo:

We have 3 awesome sponsors this week: Inky Impressions, Funky Kits, and our own Funky gal Lou! So that means you have a chance at 3 prizes!!

For my card I picked Witchy Bella, one of the very first Bellas I ever bought a few years back, but sadly she has been uninked for a long time. You can get this Bella and many more at the Funky Kits web store.

I actually loved the sketch (even though it seems a bit challenging) so I used it! My papers are all from the Basic Grey Eerie collection, ribbon is Creative Impression, sentiment and web by Unity. Also a Prima flower & some Spooky Dew Drops from Robin's Nest.

Thanks for flying by today! Be sure to head over to the Fab 'n'Funky blog for more inspiration from the rest of the DT if you haven't already done so!!

Ariel is Rockin Out

I’m back today with another preview from Simply Betty Stamps. This little sassy missy is Ariel from the new Jude and the Rockers Collection!

Still in “Love, Elsie” mode I found MORE of this fun old paper for my color inspiration! I mean, how perfect is the music note paper and the rock on sticker for this fab rocker chick? I added a bit of scratchy doodle lines around the stickers and some panels to make then jump out a bit.

And if you notice, I couldn’t help but make another Center step card…they are so easy to make after you did just one and add so much fun dimension! Here’s the side view for you:

And a closeup for you of Ariel’s cool glasses complete with a skullie!! And she just needed to have a pink streak in her hair, right?!

Last, a closeup of the little stickers and gems I added randomly and generously to the bottom of the card:

Challenge List:

Pile It On: Going Round in Circles

Phindy's PLace: Going Round in Circles

Papercrafting Journey: Anything Goes

Speedy the Cat Friends: sparkle

Be sure to head to the Simply Betty Stamps blog to get more rockin and rollin inspiration from the rest of the DT! Thanks for stopping by today!
